Heart Healthy Dinner - What is Protein Do you or a loved one have a family history of heart disease?  Did you know certain foods can lower your risk of heart disease or help to manage it, while other foods may increase your risk?  Making heart healthy changes to your daily meal plan does not have to be hard or boring. Baking & Pastry Arts

An intensive course designed to prepare students for professional studies in the baking and pastry arts. Focus will be on understanding characteristics of the ingredients used in baking and pastry as well as developing a working knowledge of how ingredients react physically and chemically. Basic baking competence will be developed via hands-on preparation of products through the use of introductory baking methods. Chef coats will be provided. Scholarships are available! Classes will run Tuesday evenings for the spring semester: 1/17-5/9

Join Chef Tracy Carter in re- creating this traditional Italian American menu from scratch. First up is homemade Caesar dressing to toss with crisp fresh hearts of Romaine and buttery hand torn croutons. Next we will make a robust meat sauce layered with pasta and creamy Béchamel sauce. What better way to end the meal then with almond scented sweet Italian cookies that anyone’s Noni would be proud to serve. Mangiare!
