Holyoke Pride Flag Raising: Show Up. Stand Together
June 1st
Join us June 1st at 5PM outside Holyoke City Hall as we raise the Pride flag to kick off Pride Month, a celebration of inclusion, resilience, and love. This annual gathering brings together residents, leaders, and allies for brief remarks, community connection, and a shared sense of pride. All are welcome. Come as you are and help us raise the flag and the energy for Pride Month in Holyoke.
Queer Prom 2026: PROMICON, Your Cosplay, Your Community, Your Night!
June 6th
House of Colors Queer Prom is back, and this year’s theme is PROMICON: a cosplay, comic-con-inspired celebration where queer joy, fandoms, and community collide. This FREE event is open to LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 13–24, and whether you show up in full cosplay, a fur suit, fandom merch, or your favorite fit, you’re welcome here.
Lace up for the Holyoke Rainbow Run 5K — A Colorful Start to Pride Month!

Join us for Holyoke’s 3rd annual Rainbow Run 5K (and 1 Mile Walk), an inclusive, family-friendly run/walk filled with energy, color, and community spirit. Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride in Holyoke with costumes, rainbows, and plenty of fun at this standout Pride 5K event in Western Massachusetts!
Wisty Book Club “Queer: A Graphic History”

Celebrate Pride month with Wistariahurst Museum’s book club! We’re reading Queer: A Graphic History by Meg-John Barker and Jules Scheele — a groundbreaking graphic novel exploring the histories of queer thought, LGBTQ+ activism, and how we understand sex, gender, and sexuality today.
Celebrate Love and Community at Holyoke PrideFest 2026!

Join us June 27th from Noon to 6PM for the 5th annual Holyoke PrideFEST — a day of joy, music, art, and community celebration in the heart of The Paper City! This year we’re thrilled to welcome Massachusetts drag performer Joslyn Fox as our headlining entertainer, bringing her signature humor, charm, and “Keep it Foxy” energy! Expect live performances, drag, dancing, local food, family fun, and pure queer magic under the summer sky — and whether you’re coming to perform, vend, volunteer, or simply be loud and proud, everyone is welcome!
Keep the Pride Vibes Going at the Holyoke Pride Afterparty!

Wrap up Holyoke PrideFEST 2026 with the Official After Party on Saturday, June 27 from 6 to 11PM at The Wauregan and Fame Lounge/Eatery parking lot. This 21+ outdoor celebration features live drag performances, local LGBTQIA+ talent, food trucks, a cash bar, and high-energy music and dancing. Come light up the night and keep the pride going!
Roll With Pride: A Trans and Queer Roller Derby Celebration
June 28th
Come celebrate trans and queer athletes, community, and roller derby fun at this Pride-themed afternoon event. Starting at 1:00 PM, the public BYOS skate party welcomes all ages for open rolling and community vibes, followed by a roller derby bout at 3:30 PM featuring Pioneer Valley Roller Derby skaters alongside players from across New England. Advance tickets include both the skate party and the bout, with door tickets also available. Admission is sliding scale, $5–20 depending on age, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Sensory Friendly Pride Storytime at Wistariahurst Museum
June 28th
Celebrate Pride at Wistariahurst on June 28, 12–3 PM with a family-friendly Drag Storytime and performance by the fabulous Serenity Lockhart, plus Pride-themed crafts, lawn games, and historical activities. This sensory-friendly event features dimmed lights, low-mess activities, and quiet zones so every family can join in the fun. Free and open to all!
