A House in Holyoke through Time

Architects give houses their shape, but people give them life. Join us as Robert Comeau tells the story of 181 Linden Street through the biographies of the families who lived there in the past. In the nineteenth century, 181 Linden (then 215 Linden) was one of Holyoke’s most magnificent Queen Anne homes and it is still beautiful today. William Syms (Syms & Dudley Paper), William Fairfield Whiting, and Joseph M. Towne (National Blank Book) were among its prominent residents. This in-person event is free and open to the public. No pre-registration necessary.
