Calling all budding artists! Come learn painting techniques from watercolor artist Christine Copeland. Explore perspective, colors, leaf printing, brush strokes, and more. Display your finished artwork on the forest mural next to Christine’s exhibited works in the visitor center. Create some pieces to take home. Spring is on the horizon! Christine Copeland’s artwork welcomes the season to Holyoke Heritage State Park. Fish, dogwoods, ephemeral flowers and birds dance among sun and shadow in her exquisite watercolors brimming with delicate colors. Come enjoy this exhibit that teems with the energy of SPRING! in the Visitor Center Exhibition Hall between March 5 and April 28, 2024.

Holyoke Mall Get Hired Job Fair

Holyoke Mall is hosting an in-person job fair on Wednesday, April 17th from 2pm - 5pm on the Lower Level in Macy’s Court. The Get Hired Job Fair provides employers the opportunity to interview and hire workers on the spot and connect job seekers with area businesses who need their skills. Over 30 employers from a variety of industries will be in attendance looking for candidates at all skill levels. This event is open to the public and FREE to job seekers. School Vacation @ the Artery

Join us for a fun-filled school vacation at the ARTery! Come by and enjoy our drop-in open session where you can hang out, make works of art, complete a make-and-take project, or pick up a project kit to make some art at home later on. We'll have a variety of demonstrations and all the necessary supplies for you to get creative. This is an all-ages event, so bring your family and let's make some art together! Made possible by the Holyoke Local Cultural Council. Registration required. Adults must stay with underage participants; this is not a drop-off event.

This is a customizable program for all ages -  youth groups, church groups, school groups, university groups, and senior living facilities. Additional interpretive opportunities are offered for individuals and families. Because the Robert Barrett Fishway will be closed to the public this year, we are teaming up with the Fishway Guides for a collaborative program called, “Connecting with the Connecticut River."
