Beyond Walls 2023 Street Art Tour Launch

Launching in Holyoke: June 15th – June 30th Join us for the second year in a row as Beyond Walls collaborates with city officials, local business leaders, educators, and nonprofits across the state to create over 25 large scale, world-class murals in 2023 that celebrate the vibrant and diverse communities of Massachusetts. The National Blank Book Company at the foot of Cabot Street (and later in Chicopee) was a Holyoke fixture for nearly a century and a half, producing internationally-distributed products from workforce ledgers, to diaries, to custom binders.  It ingrained itself in local factory culture in the process. South Hadley Canal – a Walking Tour from Riverside Park to Canal Park

The South Hadley Canal was the first canal made for navigation within the United States having been ready for use in 1795.  For 160 years (that is, since 1863) the canal has been owned by Holyoke institutions.  Walk from Riverside Park near the South Hadley Public Library up to Canal Park.  Be capable of walking 2 miles.  Please, sign up at the Eventbrite link.
