World Record Million Meter Erg-a-thon!

Holyoke Rows 25 Jones Ferry Rd, Holyoke

Starting May 23rd at 3pm, a team of ten spirited, local 60-70-year-olds is aiming for a world record by rowing continuously on one rowing machine until they reach 1,000,000 meters! If they finish in four days of 24/ hour erging, they will be earn a world record for the first mixed-gendered team of 60-70 year olds to do this! Holyoke Heritage State Park has a new and innovative program for groups this spring. This is a customizable program for all ages -  youth groups, church groups, school groups, university groups, and senior living facilities. Additional interpretive opportunities are offered for individuals and families. Because the Robert Barrett Fishway will be closed to the public this year, we are teaming up with the Fishway Guides for a collaborative program called, “Connecting with the Connecticut River."
