Starting May 23rd at 3pm, a team of ten spirited, local 60-70-year-olds is aiming for a world record by rowing continuously on one rowing machine until they reach 1,000,000 meters!
If they finish in four days of 24/ hour erging, they will be earn a world record for the first mixed-gendered team of 60-70 year olds to do this!
The team is full but there are plenty of ways to join in the fun!

• Come down to the boathouse and cheer on the team, who will be rowing on a rowing machine in shifts for FOUR DAYS
• Hop on a rowing machine and erg alongside them for fun. We’ll have plenty of ergs to try inside and outside on our porch overlooking the beautiful Connecticut River
• Gather all your pennies and bring them to the boathouse! Part of the team’s goal is to raise awareness and funds for our after school youth rowing programs, which are free to Holyoke middle and high school students.
