You don’t need leaves to identify trees. A 1/4-mile leisurely guided walk helps you become familiar with tree characteristics and overwintering strategies. Examine bark, buds, and growth patterns, and you’ll soon identify all the trees in the park! Dress for the weather. Severe weather cancels. Meet at the Visitor Center.

Spring is on the horizon! Christine Copeland’s artwork welcomes the season to Holyoke Heritage State Park. Fish, dogwoods, ephemeral flowers and birds dance among sun and shadow in her exquisite watercolors brimming with delicate colors. Come enjoy this exhibit that teems with the energy of SPRING! in the Visitor Center Exhibition Hall between March 5 and April 28, 2024.
