The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
Join us for a fun and creative fabric painting workshop designed for all skill levels! In this two-hour session, you’ll learn how to paint your own beautiful design on a natural canvas tote bag using high-quality fabric paints. No prior experience is needed — just bring your creativity and excitement! We’ll guide you through basic techniques for painting on fabric, including design tips, color application, and how to make your artwork permanent. All materials will be provided, including tote bags, paints, brushes, and aprons. This workshop is open to all ages, and is a perfect way to enjoy a relaxed, artistic atmosphere while creating something truly unique to take home.
This new indoor club will feature 15 fenced courts, a pro shop, and a snack bar, offering outdoor-style play with indoor benefits. Construction starts soon, with an opening planned for late 2025 near JCPenney.
