The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
Looking for something creative and fun to do during school vacation? Come by the ARTery from 12 to 3 pm on Thursday April 24 for a drop-in open session to hang out, make art, complete a make-and-take project, or get inspired to make some art at home later on. No registration required, project kits will be available, supplies will be provided, and we’ll have some demos of various projects.
This session and the materials are made possible through support from the Holyoke Local Cultural Council (a program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council), the Print Shop, and Holyoke ART. All ages are welcome and families are encouraged, though we do ask grownups to stay with their kiddos as we do not have child care on site.

This new indoor club will feature 15 fenced courts, a pro shop, and a snack bar, offering outdoor-style play with indoor benefits. Construction starts soon, with an opening planned for late 2025 near JCPenney.
