The Explore Holyoke community calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings and daily specials from restaurants.
This 6.2mi course is one of the most challenging (and fun) in the region. Registration includes a bib number, race t-shirt, and other swag. Stay after the race for our awards ceremony and to enjoy refreshments available for purchase by local vendors. Gateway City Arts presents the RACE STREET BAZAAR starting January 22, 2023! Open to the public EVERY SUNDAY, 10 AM – 2 PM in the large music hall. Our café will be open offering coffee, tea, soda, snacks and pastries for purchase. The BAZAAR will feature used clothing/items, collectibles, housewares, records, books, toys & more! VENDORS: tables cost $25/day or prepay 4 weeks for $20/week. Vendors can share a table or rent multiple tables. Always a crowd pleaser, this event combines ancient (and modern) Celtic music with Middle Eastern and Tribal Dance performances.
