Indigenous Peoples Poster Exhibit

Holyoke Heritage State Park 221 Appleton Street, Holyoke

We are proud to display a poster exhibit depicting events and causes championed by indigenous peoples from around the world. The display is throughout the Exhibition Hall in Holyoke Heritage State Park Visitor Center. These posters are a part of a vast collection by Stephen Lewis. Stephen is a retired union leader. He has been collecting and exhibiting posters for the past four years, mostly at public libraries and includes the Holyoke and Lawrence Heritage State Parks. The exhibit can be enjoyed during visitor center hours of operation:  12:00 - 4:00 daily.

Hues of Holyoke

Local artist Lora Barrett will have a solo showing of new paintings of old Holyoke mills in the gallery at Wistariahurst Museum in Holyoke. Barrett is a long time city resident and well-know educator.
