Swing into Spring at the Spring Cleaning with the Skinner Servants Tour on May 8th, 2025. Explore the first and second floors of the mansion while being escorted by one of the former housemaids.This immersive ticketed event will educate guests on the lives of the servants and workers who helped maintain and keep the household running back in the day. Guests will encounter Belle Skinner, her companion, the family nurse, housekeeper and more. You'll have the chance to explore the servants' perspectives towards the family they worked for and understand the daily tasks they were entrusted with. Mother’s Day Market at Wistariahurst Museum

Soak up the sun and shop for gifts and goodies for mom- or yourself!  Wistariahurst Museum welcomes spring with our second annual Mother’s Day Market being held Saturday, May 3rd, 10:00 am-1:00 pm. Our Mother’s Day Market features local vendors selling a variety of products such as art, jewelry, food, and other amazing items. Vendors will be stationed outdoors in Wistariahurst’s gardens, weather permitting. If the April showers trickle into May, then vendors will be located indoors throughout the first floor of the museum. Knock, Knock! Photographer Jeffrey Richard opens the door to exploration and creativity in his exhibit of urban photographs. Jeffrey Richard is a Holyoke native who has always been inspired by the visual aspects of the world and city around him.Richard’s work explores urban decay and highlights abandoned buildings, alleys, and entryways. Though Richards has photographed several places during his travels, he has returned to Holyoke to take photos of this “always-changing city”, as he describes it. “Knock Knock!” is a collection of photographic images transformed into 3D framed artwork of doors and entryways from Holyoke and beyond. Wistariahurst Museum is celebrating the Third Annual Women’s History Month juried art showcase. This year, the theme is Love, in all forms. An opening reception will be held on March 13, 2025. “Love, in all forms” is an array of artwork of varying mediums that analyzes how love impacts our lives. The exhibition features the work of artists who identify as women and non-binary. These artists' work reflects different experiences and concepts revolving around love, and what love means to them. Love can be painful, a process, joyful, romantic, platonic, a feeling, an object, a memory; love is beautiful in all its forms. Artists featured in this exhibit include Mariana Cicerchia, Katherine McClelland, Isabella Livoti, Shelsy Rodriguez and Dawn Allen. […]

Wistariahurst Museum is egg-static to bring back our Sensory-Friendly Egg Hunt for a second year! This festive egg hunt focuses on gentle exploration and enjoyment. Designed for families with sensory sensitivities, this egg-ceptional event is tailored so every bunny feels comfortable and welcome. This year’s egg hunt will take place indoors throughout the halls of Wistariahurst. Weather permitting, outdoor games and activities will add some egg-stra fun to the event.
