Holyoke, Massachusetts - the Birthplace of Volleyball - plays host to the Volleyball City Battle of the Badges Volleyball Tournament featuring members of the New York City Fire (FDNY) and New York City Police (NYPD) Departments going head to head with teams of first responders from Holyoke, Springfield and greater New England highlighting the spirt of competition and brotherhood. Back for a ninth year, this community event features 12-teams on 3 courts at Holyoke Community College.  Spectator admission is free.

The International Volleyball Hall of Fame (IVHF) is excited to announce the annual IVHF Girls High School Volleyball All-Star Teams and All-Star Showcase presented by PeoplesBank.  All-Stars will be recognized for their achievements on Tuesday, November 22nd, at Holyoke Community College.  Play begins at 6:30pm with a 3-set 2nd team all-star match followed by a 3-set 1st team match at 7:30 pm. Spectator tickets will be available at the door and include a complimentary admission pass to the International Volleyball Hall of Fame Museum.
