The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
Join Holyoke Mall for their FREE, summer program, Tykes Tuesday this Tuesday, August 1, morning featuring Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory on the lower level in Macy’s Court from 11:00 AM to noon.
This Week’s Activity: Learn about butterflies and other exotic animals with Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory. Magic Wings is an 8000 square-foot tropical conservatory with nearly 4000 free-flying tropical and native butterflies from all over the world! They also have exotic reptiles, frogs, fish, birds & insects to see up close and personal.

Tykes Tuesday is the shopping center’s summer program for families looking for fun, educational activities each week. The kids’ program is free, open to the public, and is best suited for children ages 12 and under. This year’s activities include STEM activities, a magic show, free trampoline park admission, and more!
