The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
Our next public event is a PRIDE PARTY & OPEN SCRIMMAGE, part of the Holyoke Pride lineup of festivities! Join us June 28, 2025, at the Fitzpatrick Arena in Holyoke to celebrate Pride, affirm that trans athletes belong in sports, and have a blast!
1:00-3:00pm: all-ages public skate party! Bring your own skates!
3:30pm: roller derby open scrimmage: Cheer on Pioneer Valley Roller Derby skaters and other roller derby skaters from around New England as they play each other in a fun and friendly scrimmage.
Suggested donation: $10.
No one turned away for lack of funds.
This program is funded in part by a grant from the Holyoke Local Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency!

Beyond Armour Yard is Holyoke’s newest community space, created in partnership with Beyond Walls. Just steps from the original Armour Yard, it hosts “Mondays at the Armour Yard” and is open for events all week long.
This unique colorful book includes our Holyoke history, the City Hall dedication, all community events throughout the year, and highlights the Masquerade Ball and the closing of the Time Capsule.
