The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
Wistariahurst Museum is egg-static to bring back our Sensory-Friendly Egg Hunt for a second year! This festive egg hunt focuses on gentle exploration and enjoyment. Designed for families with sensory sensitivities, this egg-ceptional event is tailored so every bunny feels comfortable and welcome. This year’s egg hunt will take place indoors throughout the halls of Wistariahurst. Weather permitting, outdoor games and activities will add some egg-stra fun to the event. Each child can gather six eggs and choose prizes ranging from candy to fidget toys. Hop to it and register for one of the available time slots.
Families can sign up for timed entry to ensure smooth check-in between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Families are welcome to enjoy the egg hunt any time during their timeslots, and each time slot will be limited to 10 families. Families need 1 ticket per family. The egg hunt will continue until 1:30 pm, allowing children to explore at their own pace and enjoy a stress-free experience! Families are welcome to explore the gardens and enjoy outdoor games, weather permitting, during the event.
Wistariahurst offers a wide variety of programs, educational opportunities, and events including workshops, concerts, lectures and demonstrations designed to be of service to and enhance the quality of life of Holyoke residents.
This new indoor club will feature 15 fenced courts, a pro shop, and a snack bar, offering outdoor-style play with indoor benefits. Construction starts soon, with an opening planned for late 2025 near JCPenney.
