Pamela Means presents The Power of The Protest Song

June 25, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Pamela Means’s artistic and visionary program is an intergenerational community event. Part performance, part presentation, it will explore the origin stories of protest songs and how they continue to inspire movements and cultural shifts. A curated assortment of original songs and recognizable covers show how grounding, unifying, and mobilizing protest songs can be. All are invited.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Holyoke Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
