The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
Join the park interpreter for some exercise along Holyoke’s canals and beyond. This is a leisurely walk geared for seniors but open to all ages. We stroll along the first level canal to its intersection with the second level canal. Here we overlook the Holyoke dam complex. A return trip along the second level canal on Race street brings us full circle. 1.5 miles total. Meet at Holyoke Heritage State Park Visitor Center. Dress for the weather. Severe weather cancels.
This new indoor club will feature 15 fenced courts, a pro shop, and a snack bar, offering outdoor-style play with indoor benefits. Construction starts soon, with an opening planned for late 2025 near JCPenney.
