Learn to use RootsMagic Family Tree Software

July 10, 2024 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

RootsMagic is a powerful software program that allows you to construct a family tree on your own computer, attach documents and images, input notes, color code family members, choose if and how to share your tree, and much more.  This free workshop on July 10 by experienced genealogist and presenter Hillary Schau will introduce new users to RootsMagic.  After the introductory portion, there will be time to work on your family tree and experienced users will be able consult with Hillary.  Pre-register by calling (413) 420-8107.  The workshop takes place in the Computer Classroom and seats are limited.

The History Room will also be open that day for genealogical and historical research.   Our 2th and 4th Wednesday free genealogy consultations with professional genealogists resume on July 24, 2:00-4:00 PM.   Hillary Schau and Iris Alicea Flores (general research, bilingual assistance, and expertise in Puerto Rican, Caribbean, and South and Central American sources) will both be at the History Room on the 24th.
