This electrifying concert experience will feature a live band led by Drummer extraordinaire Dwayne Keith and a lineup of dynamic female vocalists performing iconic dance floor anthems made famous by artists such as CeCe Peniston, Robin S, Crystal Waters, Martha Wash, Inner City, Corona, and Black Box.

Rooted in the cultural legacy of house music — a genre born from Black, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ communities in the 1980s — Ladies First highlights the art form’s deep connection to freedom, empowerment, inclusivity, and self-expression. Through rhythm, melody, and movement, house music has long been a celebration of life and community — a place where people come together to heal, rejoice, and feel seen.

Presented in honor of Women’s History Month, this event shines a light on the female vocalists who gave house music its soul.
