The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
Kids’ art classes are back at Wistariahurst Museum! Ring in back to school season with fun, educational art lessons. This series of art classes is geared towards children ages 7-12 to spark creativity and inspire a love for art history. Instructor Laura Amazeen-LaPlante will help children explore different mediums and artistic techniques to unlock their imaginations. These engaging activities will help kids create their own masterpieces through a hands-on approach to learning
To make these classes accessible and available for all kids in our community, we offer a sliding scale for admission. Parents and/or guardians can choose admission pricing from $10, $15, or $20, which will help cover the cost of materials and ensure a rewarding experience for everyone who participates!
