Beyond the Armour Yard
Beyond Armour Yard is Holyoke’s newest community space, created in partnership with Beyond Walls. Just steps from the original Armour Yard, it hosts “Mondays at the Armour Yard” and is open for events all week long.
The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.

Holyoke Historic and Cultural Tourism Plan Public Outreach Event
The City of Holyoke Office of Planning and Economic Development (OPED) and the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) will be co-hosting a public meeting on Wednesday, June 22nd, between 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Holyoke Senior Center on 291 Pine Street.
There will be duplicate presentations at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. about the Holyoke Historic and Cultural Tourism Plan, the new Explore Holyoke website and Holyoke Community Calendar, and the Holyoke Library History Room’s Ciudad de Historias/City of Stories project. There will be a Spanish translator available, and the presentations will be shared on Holyoke Media.
Public input will be sought during the event to gain insight about how residents value Holyoke’s historic and cultural resources. And to better understand what residents would like to see further developed or provided as part of the Holyoke experience in a manner that is representative of the city’s history and cultural heritage. The feedback will be incorporated into the Holyoke Historic and Cultural Tourism Plan, which is being created as an amendment to the recently completed Holyoke Tourism Strategic Plan.
