The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
The Greater Holyoke Council for Human Understanding presents its annual Holocaust Commemoration Event on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, 5:30-7:30pm at The Council on Aging, 291 Pine Street, Holyoke. The event if FREE to the public, however good will donations are gratefully accepted. The short documentary “The Numbers On My Great-Grandpa’s Arm” will be shown. The Holyoke High School Madrigals will perform under the direction of Mark Todd. This year’s event is dedicated to Council Founding members; Dolores Stein and Sue Ellen Panitch. This new indoor club will feature 15 fenced courts, a pro shop, and a snack bar, offering outdoor-style play with indoor benefits. Construction starts soon, with an opening planned for late 2025 near JCPenney.
