Girls Inc. of the Valley’s Teen Advocacy Board (TAB) will host a fundraising event at the end of the month to benefit Hope for Holyoke, a local organization welcoming all people in recovery from substance use and those affected by substance use. TAB will be selling bracelets with inspirational quotes at the event to spread awareness and support those struggling with substance abuse. Substance abuse is their chosen cause as it affects an overwhelming amount of people in the community and there is not an abundance of resources for those impacted. Girls Inc. of the Valley aims to encourage all girls to seize opportunity for continuous learning, personal growth, and community support. Their mission aligns with that of Hope for Holyoke, in providing the highest quality services and supporting the well-being of the population. With this fundraising event both organizations will make a positive impact on the lives of many.
