The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
On August 14, 2025, De La Luz welcomes the legendary Dirty Dozen Brass Band for a night of genre-smashing brilliance straight outta New Orleans.
Blending traditional brass band roots with bebop, funk, R&B, and soul, this GRAMMY-winning crew has been redefining what a horn section can do since 1977. With over four decades of global touring and collaborations that span everyone from Modest Mouse to Norah Jones, these cats are a force of nature—equal parts celebration and revolution.

This new indoor club will feature 15 fenced courts, a pro shop, and a snack bar, offering outdoor-style play with indoor benefits. Construction starts soon, with an opening planned for late 2025 near JCPenney.
