The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
The More Love dance party returns to De La Luz Soundstage with an extra-special guest: DJ Coco Maria. Hailing from Mexico and now based in Europe, Coco Maria has become one of the most exciting selectors on the international circuit, known for her adventurous sets that blend rare tropical rhythms, Afro-Latin grooves, and soulful gems from across the globe. Her mixes flow effortlessly between cumbia, samba, jazz, and funk—always with a touch of the unexpected—and have earned her stages from Worldwide FM to festivals around the world.
She joins our very own Deejay Theory, the resident behind More Love’s signature sound. Theory has built a loyal following in Holyoke with his genre-defying sets that connect the dots between reggae, soca, dancehall, hip-hop, and house, always guided by deep basslines and uplifting energy. Together, Coco Maria and Theory promise a night that celebrates rhythm without borders, a dance floor where community and discovery meet in equal measure.
As always, the More Love party transforms De La Luz into a vibrant late-night hub along the canal walk in Holyoke. Whether you’re a crate-digger looking for fresh sounds or simply ready to lose yourself on the dance floor, this month’s installment offers the perfect chance to gather, move, and spread more love.
