We’re here to help you thrive
Since 1890, the Greater Holyoke Chamber has been the center for business advancement in the greater Holyoke area.
The Explore Holyoke community calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings and daily specials from restaurants.
In partnership with Holyoke’s Chamber of Commerce, we would like to invite local entrepreneurs and businesses to visit the Dean Tech HS Campus for a brief History of Industry and Career Technical Education in Holyoke with a focus on the 9 Chapter 74 Approved CTE programs that are thriving on the Dean Tech Campus.
– Opportunity to spend 30 minutes networking with the future of our local work force will be mutually beneficial for both our 9th and 10th grade students and local residents or professionals in other fields of expertise.
– 45 min. tours of the 9 CTE programs led by our Dean Tech Student Ambassadors.
– 30 min. Culminating event would allow for adults to choose one of 9 programs to speak with students in an open Q and A.
– We hope to hold 3 of these events next year (September – December – April).
We hope to hear back from you, we know the History of Industry and the trades run deep in Holyoke and we would be honored to be a part of.
