The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
Join us for an inspiring evening at the Waterfront Event Venue, as Puerto Rican storyteller, influencer, and content creator Dean Huertas brings his Bridge the Gap Tour to Holyoke, MA!
This special cultural event will feature:
A powerful panel discussion with local Puerto Rican community leaders
Conversations on diaspora identity, cultural roots, activism, and volunteerism
Opportunities to network, support local vendors, and enjoy food + drinks
Live music, raffles, and an uplifting celebration of Puerto Rican pride

Hosted by Explore Holyoke in partnership with Nueva Esperanza, this event highlights our shared commitment to community connection, culture, storytelling, and honoring our Puerto Rican identity all while bridging the gap between the diaspora and the island.
