The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
This summer, Beyond Walls returns to Holyoke to bring new life to downtown.
We’re transforming the long-vacant lot at Race & Main into a vibrant public gathering space filled with art, culture, and community. Celebrated muralists Golden 305 and Ruben Ubiera, along with other featured artists, will breathe life into shipping containers with bold, large-scale murals.
Join us for Clash of the Cans, a free, family-friendly event where the space will officially launch with live painting, local food, music, and community celebration.

This new indoor club will feature 15 fenced courts, a pro shop, and a snack bar, offering outdoor-style play with indoor benefits. Construction starts soon, with an opening planned for late 2025 near JCPenney.
