The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.

Linda Devine leads these sessions to help artists in western Massachusetts come together to create a supportive environment. Once a month, Wistariahurst Museum will host various workshops and sessions to help artists focus on their personal goals and enhance their practices by interacting with other artists.

Artist Sessions are perfect for those looking to network, participate in artmaking, or share solutions to common problems. These sessions are geared toward helping artists of all skill levels and mediums boost their practices and potential. We are an artist-friendly space that encourages creativity and supports the growth of this region’s artists, which is why these sessions are offered at no cost and accessible to all artists seeking to elevate their careers. Artist Sessions at Wistariahurst Museum will culminate in an art show to be presented to the public in January of 2026, highlighting all of the amazing work of the artists who attended sessions throughout the year.

Beyond Armour Yard is Holyoke’s newest community space, created in partnership with Beyond Walls. Just steps from the original Armour Yard, it hosts “Mondays at the Armour Yard” and is open for events all week long.

This new indoor club will feature 15 fenced courts, a pro shop, and a snack bar, offering outdoor-style play with indoor benefits. Construction starts soon, with an opening planned for late 2025 near JCPenney.
