The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.
A special day at the historic Holyoke Public Library:
11:00-12:00: Dancers from Holyoke’s own Massachusetts Academy of Ballet will be performing previews of The Nutcracker on the main floor on the Library—with mice and tin soldiers in attendance! The directors and dancers will be available to discuss what it takes to maintain the decades-long tradition of performing this popular ballet. No reservations or tickets needed, just drop in!

Wistariahurst offers a wide variety of programs, educational opportunities, and events including workshops, concerts, lectures and demonstrations designed to be of service to and enhance the quality of life of Holyoke residents.
This new indoor club will feature 15 fenced courts, a pro shop, and a snack bar, offering outdoor-style play with indoor benefits. Construction starts soon, with an opening planned for late 2025 near JCPenney.
