Wistariahurst offers a wide variety of programs, educational opportunities, and events including workshops, concerts, lectures and demonstrations designed to be of service to and enhance the quality of life of Holyoke residents.
The Explore Holyoke community events calendar highlights the arts and cultural events throughout the city of Holyoke to help plan your visit. You are invited to submit your event. Events encouraged to be submitted are art openings, dance concerts, open mic events, cultural lectures. Events not allowed on the calendar are, political fundraisers, city meetings, daily specials from restaurants and events outside the city of Holyoke.

The first day of Holyoke’s legendary St. Patrick’s “Homecoming Weekend.”
Join thousands of runners, walkers, families, and spectators for one of New England’s most iconic road races and the kickoff to an unforgettable St. Patrick’s celebration in Holyoke.
Race Day Schedule
Bib Pick-Up: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Pick up your bib on race day at Race Headquarters on Maple Street.
Kid’s Fun Run: 11:00 a.m.
A free event for kids ages 2–10. No registration required. Lineup begins at 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Hampden and Walnut Streets. Grouped by age and boys/girls.
10K Road Race Start: 1:00 p.m.
Runners line up at the beginning of Maple Street. Participants will be released in waves based on bib color.
2-Mile Walk Start: Approximately 1:30 p.m.
The walk begins after the final wave of runners has started.
Stay for the Celebration!
Visit our Expo Area on Hampden Street, between Maple and Chestnut.
After the race, enjoy food, drinks, music, and a high-energy street party as Holyoke launches into the most epic St. Patrick’s weekend in the region.
Whether you are racing, walking, cheering, or just soaking in the atmosphere, Race Day is where Holyoke’s St. Patrick’s spirit truly comes alive.
