Stop by the Visitor Center to try your hand at making a piece of homemade paper.  Holyoke was home to many paper mills, manufacturing quality paper for worldwide distribution. This earned Holyoke's nickname of "The Paper City." Kids and adults will enjoy getting your hands wet to make a special piece of paper to take home with you. Every Sunday for September and October, 2022.

Join us for a magical performance of music and dance in the beautiful gardens of this historical Holyoke Museum. Choreographer Michelle Marroquin presents a program of original dances and familiar favorites, including Garden of Sprites, performed by young ballerinas of the Academy of Ballet Arts. You'll also witness Michelle & Zazie Tobey's butoh inspired collaboration with Maggie Nowinski's biomorphic drawings called wHoles. Holyoke Source to Sea Cleanup

Join the Holyoke Conservation Commission and DCR in this 4-state effort to clean up the Connecticut River at Slim Shad Point. This annual cleanup event sponsored by the Connecticut River Conservancy is in its 26th year.  Hundreds of people all along the river's 410 miles get out on this day to clean up their communities along the river. Let's do the same for Holyoke Gloves, supplies, and snacks will be provided. Come on out for the comradery and give some love back to the river that built this city.
