Returning Migrant Bird Walk

Holyoke Heritage State Park 221 Appleton Street, Holyoke

For adults and teens. Migrant birds are now returning from various regions in the south. Join the park interpreter to search for birds in canals, trees, ground cover and riverside. Learn of the amazing distances they travel, difficulties they face, and how climate change is affecting them. Be ready to walk around Holyoke Heritage State Park and up to Pulaski Park. Scott Tower Cleanup and Community Information Event

Join us on Saturday, April 29th for a day of activities at Scott Tower and Anniversary Hill Park! 9am-noon, Scott Tower Cleanup: Join the Friends of Scott Tower group to clean up and beautify the area . Mini Golf in the Library!

Mini Golf and Games at the Library! – a series of FUN activities inside and outside of the Holyoke Public Library on Saturday, April 29: Mini Golf in the Library, for all ages (under 5 free), 9:30 am - 3:30 pm, 18 holes of  miniature golf inside the building!   Games outside in Library Park, 10:30 am – 3pm, featuring Human Foosball with teams of 6 competing for bragging rights and prizes. Flywheel Zine Fest

Holyoke Senior Center 291 Pine Street, Holyoke

The 9th annual Flywheel Zine Fest (formerly known as the Pioneer Valley Zine Fest) is happening in Holyoke for the first time! Join dozens of zine makers, creators, and distributors from all over the Northeast as they sell their self-published 'zines (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zine), comics, and more on a variety of interesting topics. Students from Holyoke Public Schools will also be tabling and selling their zines. Organized and run by Flywheel, a 24 year old, volunteer-run, non profit arts collective.
