DESCRIPTION:Holyoke Historic and Cultural Tourism Plan Public Outreach Event \nThe City of Holyoke Office of Planning and Economic Development (OPED) and the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) will be co-hosting a public meeting on Wednesday\, June 22nd\, between 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Holyoke Senior Center on 291 Pine Street. \nThere will be duplicate presentations at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. about the Holyoke Historic and Cultural Tourism Plan\, the new Explore Holyoke website and Holyoke Community Calendar\, and the Holyoke Library History Room’s Ciudad de Historias/City of Stories project. There will be a Spanish translator available\, and the presentations will be shared on Holyoke Media. \nPublic input will be sought during the event to gain insight about how residents value Holyoke’s historic and cultural resources. And to better understand what residents would like to see further developed or provided as part of the Holyoke experience in a manner that is representative of the city’s history and cultural heritage.
