Doors Open October 14th: Take a tour of the first floor of the Culinary Arts Institute and watch our culinary students in action with live action food demonstrations. Learn more of upcoming programs and ask our faculty tips on their best culinary practices A 20,000 square-foot facility designed for hands-on training, community engagement, and workforce development. Two floors of the Cubit house four state-of-the-art kitchens, a bakery, dining room space, classrooms, a computer lab, and conference room. The latest technology is embedded with video recording and live stream capabilities.

The building and association exist primarily for the purpose of providing a meeting place for Holyoke's Masonic groups. Providing space for other civic institutions, fraternal orders, social or civic gatherings are important secondary purposes.

Holyoke Public Library

Holyoke’s “Library in a Park” combines the city’s rich history with state-of-the-art facilities and a wide range of resources for children, teens, and general library users. Our historic 1902 building and murals were fully restored in 2013. The Library’s free meeting spaces can be reserved by non-profits for community events.

HG&E’s Robert E. Barrett Fishway

HG&E’s Robert E. Barrett Fishway

The fishlift at HG&E’s Robert E. Barrett Fishway helps migrating fish over the dam each spring. It was the first and most successful fish lift on the Atlantic coast. It consists of two elevators or “lifts” which carry migrating fish up and over the Holyoke dam. Come visit and learn about the history of the Holyoke Dam and fishway.
Nueva Esperanza

Nueva Esperanza

Nueva Esperanza Inc. will lead El Corazón/Heart of Holyoke Placekeeping Project art installations tour to learn the history of Latinx/Puerto Rican art work and community engagement efforts. Participants will meet at Nueva Esperanza and begin the walk from there. Participation is first come first serve for the 90 minute tour.

Baustein houses a newly established artist and maker community on the third floor of the former American Thread Factory building. We have over twenty art studios filled with makers, artists and entrepreneurs. Please come visit!

Hotel Jess

The former Hotel Jess is currently vacant and in the predevelopment phase of a historic renovation project. The proposed renovations include converting it into residential housing units and commercial restaurant space. Come see it in its current state and enjoy unique architectural features reminiscent of its previous grandeur.
International Volleyball Hall of Fame

International Volleyball Hall of Fame

The International Volleyball Hall of Fame was founded to honor extraordinary players, coaches, officials, and leaders who have made significant contributions to the game of volleyball. The Hall of Fame is located in Holyoke, Massachusetts, where volleyball was invented in 1895 by William G. Morgan at the local YMCA.

H. H. Richardson Station

H. H. Richardson Station

This is a historic building designed by H.H. Richardson in the 1800s. Richardson is one of America’s premier architects and this was one of the last stations he designed. Currently it is being restored but people are welcome to tour the structure and view repairs in progress.

Doors Open- On October 14th, 2023 free entry between 10am-12pm. Located alongside the Holyoke Heritage State Park Visitor’s Center, Children’s Museum of Holyoke and Volleyball Hall of Fame, the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round is a picture-perfect venue for your family gathering, whether you’re planning a birthday party, business social or wedding ceremony. The carousel at the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round is handicap accessible.
