An Open Door to the Paper City

Doors Open Holyoke provides an opportunity to discover hidden architectural gems in the city of Holyoke, and to see behind doors that are rarely open to the public for free. Our goal is to connect people to local destinations in Holyoke of cultural, historical and architectural significance, bridging communities and inspire new perspectives.

This event is a self-guided and self-paced tour of the City Center buildings. You’re welcome to visit just a few buildings or visit them all! Start your tour at either the Visitors Center in Heritage State Park, or choose any participating building to begin! All of our Buildings on Tour will have maps available for pick up.

Our greatest thanks & appreciation to all of our in-kind sponsors and the volunteers, restaurants, building owners, business owners, and attendees for supporting our event in 2021 and 2022. See you again in 2023!
