Benefit Concert for Jamaica

November 16 @ 1:45 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us at De La Luz Soundstage for a powerful day of music, community, and purpose. This all-day benefit concert brings together some of the Valley’s most dynamic artists to raise funds for hurricane relief efforts in Jamaica’s mountain communities of St. Elizabeth—with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Mystic Bowie Cultural Center, a 501(c)(3) organization based in Accompong Town.

Expect a vibrant mix of roots reggae, rock, ska, funk, and dance—plus a few unforgettable surprises. Performances include The Valley Moonstompers Society (two sets), Peter J. Newland & RadioX, Fever, Won Word Trend, Deejay Theory, DJ Cancer, and a special burlesque interlude by The House of Grotesque.

The Moonstompers’ closing set features an all-star lineup of guest artists:

Cinamon (Brown Bones), Michael Wilbur (Moon Hooch), Matt Penza & Chris Regan (Fear Nuttin Band), Danny Pease & Kenn Kosiba (DPR), Freddy McCondichie (formerly of The Meditations), and Robin Setal (formerly of Burning Spear)—with more guests likely to join as the night unfolds.

Come for the cause, stay for the music, and help lift up the people of Jamaica through rhythm, generosity, and solidarity.
