SUMMARY:Music for Healing | Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Music for Healing is a free exhibition of visual\, sound\, and performance art by interdisciplinary artist Angelica Olstad. At its center is Transmission (2025)\, a video work in which Olstad performs her original score at the piano while wearing an EEG machine\, making her brainwave activity visible in real time. A classically trained pianist\, Olstad collaborated with neuroscientists to better understand how music and movement can help regulate the nervous system and support healing and wellbeing in our minds and bodies. The installation includes original scores\, drawings\, and an interactive wall where visitors contribute their own reflections on healing. \nNo art or science background required. All are invited into the exhibit to sit\, listen\, move\, or simply rest. \nFree public programming runs throughout the exhibition\, including an opening reception with live performance (Friday\, July 17\, 6–9pm)\, a walking community sound bath\, a piano masterclass and listening session with the artist\, and a closing reception with an embodied movement workshop. \nVisit papercityclothingcompany.com for gallery hours and program details. \nOn view: July 17 – August 27 \nPaper City Clothing Company | 144 High St\, Holyoke\, MA 01040 \nFree & open to all \nVisit Paper City Clothing Company for gallery hours.

One-stop shopping from friendly and knowledgeable employees.” – Joanna Brown\, South Hadley resident \n“On behalf of the Holyoke City Council\, we’re excited to welcome Cornucopia to their new location and thank them for their investment in our city.  Their presence on Dwight Street will complement the growing business community located nearby\, bringing more people into our community and offering more opportunities to access healthy foods and supplements.”  – Tessa Murphy-Romboletti\, Holyoke City Council President\, City Councilor At Large \n“Cornucopia encompasses everything that’s beautiful about living in the Valley: a locally owned business rooted in a commitment to health and wellbeing\, providing support and resources to the community it serves. These are the values that raised me and so many others in Western Mass\, and it’s great to see Cornucopia now bringing that same spirit to the Holyoke community.” – Jeromie Whalen\, Running for Congress against the (D) Incumbent for MA – 01\, Teacher\, Community Organizer. \nAt Cornucopia\, customers can expect a thoughtfully curated selection of clean\, whole foods with a focus on organic products and knowledgeable customer service.
