SUMMARY:Holyoke Revitalization Tour
DESCRIPTION:Discover how a city originally designed as an industrial mill town is being reimagined. Learn about some innovative businesses and visit some developers that have – and are continuing to – put new life into old buildings. Easy walking tour\, 1.5 -2 miles concludes at Choo Choo’s take-out at lunchtime\, before walking back to the park. \nThis week’s tour includes: Cubit Co-works\, Bebee Holbrook\, High Street Craft Building\, and HH Richardson Train Station. \nMeet at the Visitor Center. Although the bridge on Appleton Street is closed\, the free parking lot at 221 Appleton is accessible. To get to the visitor center\, follow the sidewalk on foot into the park\, passing the Merry-Go-Round. Veer left at the sidewalk fork up to the Visitor Center. \nTour is free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress for the weather but rain or extreme weather cancels. Bring water. Registration is required by calling 413-534-1723 or emailing nancy.condon@mass.gov.

Discover dark tales of death\, loss\, and spirits that are said to still roam our halls to this day as you wander through the home. \nThis unique character tour of Wistariahurst Museum includes standing\, walking\, and transitioning between the first and second floors using our Grand Staircase in dim lighting. This tour may include loud noises\, challenging subjects\, and possible jump scares. Parents are advised to consider these factors before purchasing tickets.
