DESCRIPTION:A leisurely walk geared for seniors but open to all.  Join the park interpreter for some exercise along the streets of Holyoke with informal\, on-the-go interpretation. Each roughly 1 to 1.5 mile walk features a topic such as local history\, architecture\, plants and wildlife. \nMeet at the Visitor Center of Holyoke Heritage State Park. Dress for the weather.  Severe weather cancels. This and all tours and programs at Holyoke Heritage are free. Registration is requested – but not required –  by calling 413-534-1723

This series of art classes is geared towards children ages 7-12 to spark creativity and inspire a love for art history. Instructor Laura Amazeen-LaPlante will help children explore different mediums and artistic techniques to unlock their imaginations. These engaging activities will help kids create their own masterpieces through a hands-on approach to learning \nTo make these classes accessible and available for all kids in our community\, we offer a sliding scale for admission.
