DESCRIPTION:The annual Holocaust Remembrance Event presented by The Greater Holyoke Council for Human Understanding will be held on Wednesday\, May 21\, 2025\, 5:30-7:00 pm at the Holyoke Council on Aging. \nCome join us for a meaningful event dedicated to remembering the Holocaust. The Greater Holyoke Council for Human Understanding invites you to a special gathering at the Holyoke Council on Aging & Senior Center. Let’s honor the memory of those affected by this tragic event and reflect on the importance of tolerance and understanding in our community. This is a yearly tradition created by founding members of the CHU\, Dolores Stein & Sue Ellen Panitch\, and we continue in their memory. \nThe event will include a guest speaker\, Henny Lewin\, the child of Holocaust survivors. Light refreshments will be provided. \nThe CHU would also like to thank the Holyoke Council on Aging for supporting this event. \nThe event is free to the public. However\, goodwill offerings are gratefully accepted to help us continue our work within the greater Holyoke communities. \nWe hope to see you there in support of community and understanding.
